I haven't posted for a couple of days, I thought 5 days of  Disney might have been too much for you.

We finally made it to California park, but found there was quite a bit of maintenance, upgrades, etc happening. We did enjoy a few rides, and made it back on our last night to World of Colour.

We are now in San Diego, but are really pushed for time. Yesterday, on our drive down, we went to Legoland. Now, I had been looking forward to this lots, probably more than Disneyland. I think it is over rated,  at nearly $300 to get in (we did get a deal, so didn't pay quite that much, but it was still a lot), they hit you for $12 for parking, and you then have to pay extra to play Mini Golf. Some of the stalls closed early, we spent the day telling the kids to look around before spending their money on the first thing they saw, only to go back and have stalls closed, I can understand half an hour before closing, but 2 hours??? Right, then, if you want to go to the Water park or Sealife, it's more again.

We had been to the Lego shop at Downtown Disney, and had purposely not bought anything, because we were going to the 'Lego Mecca', however were a big disappointed that a lot of sets weren't available to Legoland, nor was the 'bag-a-brick' options as prolific as we expected.

Anyway, we were there so made the most of it!
